The first 5G network was launched on 1st October in Delhi (Pragati Maidan). The launch was done by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who inaugurated a new business incubator in the city as part of his ‘Make in India’ initiative.

The 5G is expected to have a speed of 10 gigabits per second (Gbps) and will be available for use by Indian users from next month. This means that people will be able to download movies or play games with great speed on their phones and laptops.

IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on 1st October in a relaxed tone said that the government will take steps to encourage use of digital payment. He said that the government has been working towards ensuring that the financial inclusion programme is successful and it will continue to work towards this end.

5G is one of the most important technologies that we have today because it will provide an internet connection at speeds that are much faster than what we have today. It’s also expected to bring about innovations like self-driving cars, smart cities and more advanced healthcare systems. The network will be used to provide faster internet and public Wi-Fi access, as well as create new jobs for millions of people who previously had no access to broadband.”Today is a proud day for India. By using 5G technologies we have taken another major step forward in bridging the digital divide across the country,” Modi said in his speech at a function attended by thousands of government and industry officials, scientists, entrepreneurs and telecom officials.

A lot of people are talking about 5G and its impact on the every day lives of consumers. While 5G is just beginning to be rolled out across cities in India, there is no doubt that it will be a game changer for businesses and consumers alike.

The 5G launch is a great opportunity for the government to get its hands on the latest technology. It is also a good investment going forward as it will help in improving the lives of millions.

The 5G launch will also bring about many technological advancements that can be used for the betterment of society. This includes things like smart cities, smart homes and even smart cars.

Ashwini said that by 2022, India has been promised to be a digitally empowered nation with all people being able to avail services online. He said that “we will achieve it through a number of schemes which are already in place“.

5G has an extremely high data rate, which makes it ideal for things like IoT devices, which are becoming more and more common in our daily lives. This means that people will have more control over their homes and cities as well as being able to use these new technologies more efficiently than before.

The 5G network is also going to be used for smart city applications such as traffic management systems and intelligent transportation systems (ITS). This means that cities will be able to better manage traffic flow and make roads safer for drivers by communicating with each other through the 5G network rather than having separate networks for each type of transportation system (e.g., cars vs buses vs trains or motorcycles).
