How Do I Download My5, ITV Hub And All 4 On A LG Smart TV-The Click Times

Just bought an LG Smart TV and thought you could catch your favorite shows on ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5? Then, after hours of searching you found that you can’t find My5, ITV Hub and all 4 apps. Well, maybe they’re not really there! But look at a way to work around the problem.

I know this is a money making and saving blog, but I also love my technology, it’s just that I don’t have much time to write much about it. But you can check out my reviews on some smart technologies like smart meters and smart thermostats if you have a few minutes.

I like to stick to a budget when it comes to spending, but televisions are one area where I don’t mind spending a little more. I bought my first Sony 28″ widescreen in the late 90’s and have been addicted to growing and improving ever since.

In 2019 I bought a 65″ LG OLED TV, which simply delivers a great picture. It also came with all the apps I needed and the operating system was much faster compared to the Sony I had previously.

But this month we decided to redecorate our room and decided to upgrade our old Samsung TV. It wasn’t a bad TV and had most of the apps I needed, but it was a bit small and I couldn’t add more. Apps like Disney+ and Britbox.

After some searching, I decided on a 2020 LG 43″ TV. After all, he had good reviews and knew what to expect from him… bad!

No, it very much looks like LG TVs in 2020 won’t come with some useful apps like the ITV Hub, All 4 and My5. After a quick internet search it appears that LG has not come to an agreement with Freeview for some of their latest models, which is why the apps have not been added.

However, not all bad news. Added BBC iPlayer which was previously omitted in previous versions.

Two solutions

There are three possible solutions to the missing persons problem. The first is to buy something like an Amazon Fire TV Stick. This allows you to download even more apps and access more content. The downside is that you have to plug it into your TV and have an extra outlet nearby.

If you don’t want the Fire Stick, the simple solution is to use the LG web browser. This is an app designed for browsing the web, but hopefully it gives you access to the on-demand services we’re looking for.

Below is a step-by-step guide for each service.

  • How do I get ITV Hub on my LG Smart TV?

Cast or mirror the screen

If you have a mobile phone or tablet, you may be able to cast or mirror the screen on your TV. Just download the app of your choice and choose the streaming option. However, this depends on the brand. your device and the model of your TV.

Does this work on Samsung, Sony and other brands of TVs?

Although I wrote the guide specifically for LG, there’s no reason why you can’t watch My5, ITV Hub and All 4 on other major TV brands using the same method. As long as they have a web browser or streaming option, you should be able to see your favorite apps.

I’ll admit that using the web browser isn’t ideal, but it is. the best way to view your favorite apps. However, note that All 4 is not more responsive via the web browser and can be a bit slow.
