North Korea has continuously increased its missile launching technology. In recent days, it has launched several missiles, which has created a situation of tension in the Korean Peninsula. Japan is estimated to need 500 Tomahawk missiles. The number may fluctuate depending on the capability of manufacturing the missiles.

The missile can be fired from a distance of 1,250 km

According to the US Department of Defence, the United Kingdom purchased 65 Tomahawk missiles in 2014 for $140 million. After the formation of AUKUS last year, the US has also promised to sell these missiles to Australia. The Tomahawk missile is a precision guided missile of the US military. This missile is capable of destroying its target from a distance of 1,250 km.
