US President Joe Biden warned on Thursday that the risk of a Russian invasion of Ukraine remains high.

In an interview with NBC News, Biden stated that all US citizens who are still in Ukraine should “go now.”

Regarding the risk of conflict, Biden told NBC News, “It’s not like we’re dealing with a terrorist organization. We are dealing with one of the largest armies in the world (referring to Russia). It’s a completely different situation. and things could get crazy fast.

Biden ruled out the possibility of sending US troops to Ukraine to rescue fleeing citizens. Biden said, “There is no [way to send American troops]. This is a world war in which the Americans and Russia start shooting at each other. other. We are in a very different world than ever before.

State Department advisory
